  • netsh int ip set DNS
  • netsh Winsock reset

Solution 2- ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED by Changing the DNS Address

Step 1:

Open Network and Sharing Center(image below) by clicking Wireless symbol or Network monitor from the bottom right corner of the main screen. Now Right Click on Network icon and click on Change adapter settings.

Step 2:

Right click on Network Adapter (Wi-Fi, LAN, Ethernet) and click on the Properties.

Step 3:

Now select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and go to the Properties.

Step 4:

Now add DNS addresses as seen as below image.

  • Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
  • Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

The problem should be solved.

Fix err_connection_refused for Android:

Check your Internet or restart your device to solve err_connection_refused error on Android phones. Usually, this problem doesn’t appear in mobile phones. Best solution restart your phone or reset your mobile browser.
